This is the hardest room I have ever made. The second challenge is slightly easier. Both are possible and belived only one solution.

I haven't solved the first puzzle yet. I've tried it two or three times. The only real problem is the fact that I keep missing one trapdoor and leaving me with one trapdoor that I didn't land on. I wish I could hit that last trapdoor...

There probably is only one solution to the two rooms (or maybe one method), but I wouldn't say that makes your hold that difficult in particular in comparison to many others.


I'd therefore say that 10.5 is a bit of an overrated rating, for the reasons that it isn't that ridiculously hard, and it is not the most interesting room I've ever seen. Perhaps (as a stand-alone hold) 6-7 would be more accurate.

Also, you can find at least one version of this type of room in the I Ching Contest Hold, so it's not entirely original. Still, it is a good challenge (if deterministic) and an interesting concept nonetheless.
