The early War holds struck me as unpolished. Then I tried War 6. How nice! War 6 was a lot of fun and only had a couple of what I might call scripting glitches. In one room two mimics appear if you happen to enter "correctly".

Unfortunately War 7 actually contains several scripting features that I don't feel are consistent with DROD. If you play this hold, be WARNED: You will have to do things that are of no apparent use to cause scripting to help you.

I hope scripting is not used this way in the future (or at least have a scroll say something). Otherwise you might make it known that scripting might need to be activated at times.

I dunno, that's sort of the beauty of these holds. They're not your average, every day hold. There's ALWAYS some kind of lynchpin solution that makes the thing easy. The only reason I didn't get the room I asked about was, once again, I didn't think to myself of what I could do in the room.

I've enjoyed every one of these holds. They've got an outside of the box, try it and see type of feel to them and I haven't found anything too unfair yet. Sure you're not exactly sure if the "mimics" are going to be mimics, spin around, follow a set path, need to be activated, etc. when you first enter a room, but with a little (not a lot) trial and error it usually becomes apparent.
