it seems to me like i'm the only one who doesn't know how to avoid the growing of the tar. however: i see no variant to do so

can somebody help me up please?

I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious here... I don't have my demo for this room at work. However, I don't remember having to worry about the tar growing. Are you sure that its a problem? It doesn't look like its going to grow into areas that will become unreachable (the area below the tar is 3x something), and blocked off by 1-wide passages.

The tar does produce babies, but I'd have to agree that becoming uncuttable is not a problem.

to hide among the eyes is the way i've seen, but how can i get enough time to go up to the tar? i think this ist the main problem because i have to drop the trapdoors...

Actually, the "hide in the eyes" thing is more of a red herring;

My problem is twofold: scaring the bottom queens up to where I can kill them and then killing the serpents behind the red doors.

Got it! The trick was clearing out the queen area before going after the tar, and then not forcing the queen back. That also showed me how zaubbeber could have had trouble with the tar. Now, all I need is 1S and the 5-9 polygon rooms.

All right... I figured out how to make it to the trapdoors just south of the tar -



Further hints requested. I'm not ready to give up on this one YET.

I need a little (a lot) of extra help on this one. I can push through the tar room just fine but I can't even begin to comprehend how to kill the queens in the west. I realize that there's a square where I can kill a few of them, but by the time I make it to the tar, most of the queens are on force arrows, so I couldn't wiggle them back to the danger zone even if there were some brained roach magic to do so.

I've barely been skirting by in this hold, it's really broken me. I'm too close to the end to give up now!
