I decided to make a topic, as the room has me completely snowed.

As I said in the holds forum:

I can't get the golems to help me out. . . and for that matter. . . I can't see how I'm going to get out even if I do get through the roach ambush.

I am not sure where to start on getting through the roach ambush, and now that I've abandoned pride and made a new topic in the Hints and Solutions board, I might as well just ask for someone to tell me what to do to get this room started.

How do I get this room started?
