×noticing that the Grinfidel acts differently when you go to hit one of the 4 orbs. And he even says something to that effect when you go to hit it. Since you have to hit all 4 orbs anyway, there's no guessing of which one it has to be.
Correct me if I'm missing something.

×as the Grinfidel says, you have to be one step ahead in that you have to take account of the fact that the golems are going to move each time you walk in line with them. Since this is unavoidable when you make a circuit of the trapdoors, you have position them accordingly . i.e. If you are going to be walking to the north of one, make sure it is 1 south of where you want it to be eventually etc. This may involve trapping the golem against walls.

×I do it by doing all the possible anticlockwise circuits, plus the additional circuit at the top. I don't think it can be done otherwise.
