YAY!!!!
have you any idea how hard it is to make a really tricky monster maze when it's running at double speed?

Oh goody! :thumbsup

What I'd really like is for both ST games to run a little slower. On the lowest speed setting, they run at about a "normal" speed; on the highest setting, everything moves so fast it almost blurs.

I quite liked The Creators Quirk Tutorial.
Even though I already knew all these things, I thought it was a good idea.

Here is my SubTerra 2 version. quite a lot of the things in it are mentioned in the object list, but not all of them.
I might make a second one, one that has Quirks that work in both ST and ST2, but we'll have to see...

Some of those are common sense, even if not listed in object behavior. If one is caught in a trap and cannot move, then it stands to reason their mouth cano't move either. :P

But some of them, like the faerie turning into dirt (it seems intentional), or you able to teleport into dirt is pretty weird.

The Faerie is intentional but not listed, teleporting into dirt is listed.

Well, I may be new here, but I am definitely not new to Subterra. I have several levels I would like to share, but because I can't zip files, I'll have to add them one at a time(not all at the same time, of course). I think I'll start with my favorite one.
Unfortunately, I have not gotten around to playing ST2, so all of these are for ST1. And yes, I have tested this one, extensively.
Have fun! ;)

That shouldn't be a problem. There are plenty of good zip utilities on the internet, many of which are freeware. My personal favorite is ZipGenius.

Thanks for the input :D ! I've actually been making levels for a while. I've got about 15 levels on my hard drive right now, and most of them are pretty good. I hope to make a level set eventually, but it's going to be a while as most of the levels I make take a lot of time and effort to design. In the mean time, I'll release some of them here. Which brings me to today's level. It has a weird name but is a lot of fun to play.

Wow. Two new levels in one afternoon. I made these today, just for fun. They're both small but are both fun (not to mention very hard). I hope you all enjoy them. I sure did :) .

Pretty neat levels. :)

Their concept and execution is so simple and obvious, that they're the kind of levels where everyone says "That's so simple and brilliant! Why didn't I think of that?!" when they look at them.

Thanks Danjen! It's always nice to receive praise for my work. :D
I have three more levels here for everyone to try. They're brain teasers, the kind that make you scratch your head when you look at them :) . Two of them, Reactions and Evolution, are older levels (meaning I can't remember when I made them), and the third, Misconceptions, is one I made three or four days ago. Enjoy! :fun

On a side note, does anyone know if there's going to be a design contest for ST1 this year?

There's been a contest every year as far as I can remember, and odds are we'll have one this year as well. I still can't believe how many of my levels were in the 2007 & 2008 packs; have I really been that prolific?

22 and 32!? :blink That's a lot of levels.

Here are most of the levels I have left on my hard drive. Anything left after this I'm either not going to release at all or it needs fixing before I release it. This file contains eight of the sixteen complete levels occupying my hard drive. After this, all I'll be releasing is new levels.

I was going over some of my old levels and a found a glitch in Wild Blue Yonder that makes it doable without getting the ice skates. I fixed the problem and am resubmitting the level.

Good to hear B.J!
Sorry I haven't made (m)any contributions lately, but as I mentioned before, I have a whole lot of ideas and half-mades that I promise I will one day complete.
However, at the moment I'm rediscovering the wonders of AGS, and am working on a game that takes most of my free time.

Speaking of errors, I noticed that in House of Gems the hard gem quota seems to be the same as the easy gem quota. I think hard mode should require that you free all the gems from the eggs as well as gathering the emeralds.

I can fix and upload it at some point.
