No oil in my backpack

No oil in my backpack (0)

I'm playing as a sorceress with the thievery skill, and in my retrieved backpack there was a thief's toolkit in it, but no oil.

According to the guide, "every thief has a supply in his or her backpack", so is the reason I don't have any oil because I'm not a rogue?
