What am i missing here? Seems like i need to use the golem to block one of the roaches by the pressure plate since I don't think its possible to activate it besides stepping on it directly. But there isn't enough space by the plate to get the golem into a useful position.

Maybe there is something else I can do with the invisibility potion, i'm suspicious because it doesn't seem to add anything to the puzzle since you to need to grab it immediately after the 1st set of roaches, its necessary to kill the 2nd set of roaches and nothing else is in smell range.

Is one of those assumptions wrong or am i just missing something super obvious?
