I have tried to find a way to rearrange the various eyes on the pressure plates in order to have three eyes converge their gaze on a different spot that I can suitably approach, but I can't find one that works despite lots of batting eyes around with the staff...

×To find the correct spot... it has to be a northerly direction from the south pressure plate. NW doesn't look good, N just leads back to the rejected (18,9), so how about NE?
