Did that on my end. I don't want to do a whole update just to remove one potion when there's definitely going to be more changes, but I'll use it as an excuse to at least try taking care of the author name on Serenity Springs.

Okay, I took care of that and some structural stuff. Now all rooms in the hub are possible to clear from a fresh save.

Small update here.

An initial draft of the "all nine widgets" room has been implemented. I'm not entirely satisfied with it, but it's solvable and has some good tricks. I'll try to improve it, but I'm keeping this one around as a version to fall back on. Feel free to solve it, I will take feedback into consideration when revising it.

I've also added some scrolls in the hub entrance explaining the rules, so if someone stumbles onto this compilation years down the road, they know enough to make their own level out of it. Let me know if you think there's anything I should add to the scrolls.

If I don't get another level added by the end of this month, I'll make one myself.

HI, sorry its taking me so long to update my rooms, I've opened it in the editor and tried to fix stuff like 3 times now, but then I test what I changed and realize it broke something else, working on complicated rooms is hard.

I'm still working on it, figured I'd update that I'm not just doing nothing, since I know you want to get this promoted sooner rather than later.

If nothing else I'll post what I have in a few days even if it is still broken in other ways.

Here is my entry with my adjustments to most of the rooms.

1S: I removed the challenge and enforced only one solution.

1S1W: I made it slightly more difficult to avoid a trivial solution. Still, it should be an easy room.

1S1E: I think I avoided a trivial solution, but I see no way to avoid another one, which is, no temporal projection should enter the roach alcoves. If it's possible to script a challenge which sounds like "never enter this area with a temporal projection" then I think it's worth adding it since it is the original intended solution, otherwise it is fine as long as there are no trivial solutions.

1N1E: I modified this room quite a bit to prevent two unintended solutions.

1N: Despite Rabscuttle's solution is slightly different from the intended one (which involves using only 1 stalwart per time and performing some heavy stalwart manipulation) I don't feel like adding another challenge to it or enforcing it. It is already quite a tough room as it is.

I overlooked the above update until now, apologies.

I'm just going to note that if someone wants to contribute an extra level, then post whatever progress you have by the end of this month, which is in a few days. Otherwise, I'll do something myself. Also, I will probably aim to get this ready for HA by the end of next month, so if anyone is making edits to their entry, you should get on that.

There will be an update probably today or tomorrow.

Updated with Red XIII's changes above, plus anti-timeclone enforcement in 1S1E. I added the enforcement mechanisms and checked if he was okay with them. We then thought of a way to break it and he opted to have a scroll saying that isn't necessary rather than adding any further enforcement.

In addition, the nine-widget room has been updated. I might tweak it more, but this version does the main things I want it to do. It also actually has checkpoints, sorry I forgot them in the earlier version.

As noted above, if someone wants to contribute an extra level, post something by the end of this month even if it's minimal progress. I just want to know that it's being actively worked on and will probably be done next month.

And thus, once again, we see that setting a deadline gets results.

-Widget Wasteland has been added.
-All staircase connections (and the scripted exit from Heat Mirages) lead where they're supposed to. I'm not sure when some of them broke or if I just forgot to set some of them up, but I checked them all now.
-Reworked the contest explanation in the Entrance.

This version is fully functional (hopefully), and everything else is polish. I'm hoping we can take care of that by the end of July - that's not a hard deadline, but I may start to glare disapprovingly at people if I'm still waiting on them in August. I'll be running through the whole hold to get demos, so some new breaks may become apparent in that process.

Just noting this: It's currently possible to solve 1S in the hub level from the return entrance. I've fixed this on my end, but I don't see it as significant enough to post a new version.

I ran through my own entry and made some tweaks.

1S1W: Modified the layout so solving it should require more things in the room.
1N1W: Added more water. This probably doesn't make much difference in terms of solution difficulty, but I like it better than what I had before.

In addition, the above issue with 1S in the hub has been fixed.

Still making my way through this. I might end up asking for help with some rooms, for now I'm just going to different levels though.

This is also a friendly reminder that if anyone's planning on making further changes to their rooms, it would be good if that could be done this month.

I did some polishing on my entry, mainly checkpoints and obstacles.

Any comments on it? I want to compare it to Dragon's all-in-one room, but that's behind a blue door and I haven't solved Emerald Iceberg 1E yet.

Right, I should add a bypass for testing purposes. The hold is Anyone Edit, but playing in the editor won't let you record a demo, and copying to another hold and playing there adds more work for me in checking demos.

So I'll add a bypass when I incorporate these changes. It will be removed on publication.

I kinda wish the exit stairs were behind a green door (and remove the force arrow by the entrance stairs). This is effectively the mastery level, and it feels cheap to use the exit without solving the room.

The exit staircase is used for completing the hold, and I want this puzzle to be optional for that. I could, theoretically, set things up so there's an easier puzzle to just leave the room, but I didn't feel like putting that much work into it.

Expect an update soon with Red XIII's fixes, and more checkpoints in Twisted Ziggurat because I noticed a critical lack of them while playing through it. Some rooms didn't have any at all.

-Implemented Red XIII's fix to Break the widgets 1N1E. If there were any other changes, I didn't notice them.
-Added checkpoints to Twisted Ziggurat. I'm open to moving these or adding more, especially if the entry author has particular preferences, but I definitely noticed the lack of them while running through this entry.

I may have broken a couple of rooms in Twisted Ziggurat, I'll post demos after I finish running through the level. On which note, I'm stumped on 1N1W and am at the point where I would appreciate a hint, and maybe a double-check from the author that he didn't accidentally make it unsolvable.

Sorry, my bad. The NE tunnel should be connected by green doors to the body of the room, like in the attached screenshot. Feel free to add as many checkpoints as you like.

On a related note, how do I record demos for levels I'm making that I haven't published yet? Would I need to play through them from the Change Location option, or is there a more convenient way?

Sorry for the delay in posting a new version when there's a critical issue. But here's a new version with 1N1W fixed.

Also, I'm struggling with Emerald Iceberg 1E. Trying to at least get demos for the current versions of the rooms in case PW doesn't manage to post updates. Even doing what's probably a break and getting the mimic out near the start of the room, I can't find a way to hit the southeast orb. The only options I have are getting a stalwart to distract the aumtlich, which seems extremely unpleasant if it's even possible, or somehow freezing it with a stalwart or the mimic. Which does not seem to have a much better prospect.
I would appreciate advice.

Going to post my Twisted Ziggurat demos in a moment because I suspect a couple of these are breaks.

Currently you have to play through them normally. There's a feature request to be able to make demos in the editor, but I don't think it's in 5.2 so if it gets implemented, that won't happen for a while.

Anyway, here are my Twisted Ziggurat demos, including passes through multi-pass rooms. I might have a superfluous pass somewhere in there, I don't remember if I deleted that one or not. I feel like I broke 1S and the completion pass of 1S1W (though I dread what the intended solution may be for the latter - in another attempt, I was able to summon the soldier and get him to pass in front of the eye, but the eye is drawn to the decoy so I can't kill it and getting a puff there doesn't seem feasible).

Rabscuttle solves it here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXgahZKv1a8

That's clearly not the intended solution, but I haven't heard anyone else claim to have solved it.

Currently I'm getting very frustrated by Break the Widgets 1S - not because I'm having trouble figuring out what to do, although I am, but because it's very easy for the waterskippers to get out of control. Which is technically my own fault for not accounting for that in the widget design, but still.

The easiest way I can see to improve this is to just move the widget south, and set things up so that's it unnecessary to ever go south of the middle row while doing other manipulation. If this is done, then you can fill the top two rows with waterskippers and still clear them out at any time afterwards.

I'm not saying this has to be done, just that I would find the room a lot more bearable if it was.

Also, is the rock golem supposed to move after the roaches? Because that's definitely not making it any easier to move it anywhere remotely useful after it hits the plate.

I wouldn't mind a hint here, because this isn't making any sense to me right now.

I also find the new version much more frustrating than doing the challenge in the old version. (I miss the door more than the potion.)

Here's a very inefficient demo.

And here are the demos of my rooms being completed as intended.

I can modify 1S1W second pass by placing an extra water tile at (14, 15) to have a more 'deterministic' solution, if that's okay. (If so, I would also like to place a tile at (16, 13) for symmetry. (Or you can do that directly yourself.))

Hopefully my rooms aren't quite as breakable after this. Thank you for your demos.

Since those tiles aren't part of the contest widget, I have no problem with changing them.

The 1W demo seems to be my demo, so if you meant to show a solution other than the one I found, you should send that along.

I haven't implemented these changes yet because I haven't looked closely at them, though I did look over the intended solution demos. I did notice I messed up the staircase connection to Kalin's level, so I'll prioritize getting a new version up soon.
