One thing my wife and I have in common is enjoying board games together. It's a passion we share and a reason why we're co-developing Time Fenix.

Here's a pic of us playing. This past month, we enjoyed Above and Below, a story-based village builder, Scout, a clever quick card game, and Sky Team, a fun two-player cooperative dice game.



To celebrate the occasion, we'd like to share a sneak peek of Time Fenix. Here's an image of an initial, work-in-progress, draft of the back of the game box, which provides a glimpse of many of the game components.

I don't really have any Valentine's Day traditions. If I'm in a relationship on the day what we end up doing is usually different from another year.

This year I'm currently dating someone who lives several states away so we are going to be spending time together this evening playing through Citizen Sleeper 2 over stream on Discord, and we have both coordinated our dinners so we can be eating the same thing.

As for Board Games I've recently played, I have a group of friends I visit once a month or so for a few days and we play a bunch over the course of a weekend. Spirit Island, a cooperative game about kicking colonialists off of an inhabited island, is a lot of fun. I've also recently enjoyed Treasure Island, a fun game where one player hides a treasure and draws clues on a dry erase map and the rest of the players race to find it. The fact that they both are island based adventures is coincidental and has nothing to do with the fact it's so cold and snowy out.
