You're certainly welcome to celebrate that, but there's very little room to interpret it as anything but disrespectful or offensive to attempt to shoehorn it into Easter celebrations (or to attempt to replace or displace others' Easter celebrations by celebrating it).
Consider a roughly analogous situation: at some Pride event, a bunch of Christians show up talking about "do you have a moment to talk about Jesus Christ, who can save us from our sins?" That's clearly disrespectful - and unfortunately, it or things like it happen all too often. It's one thing if they set up shop across the street, inviting people to come over and talk to them. It's another if they come in and attempt to make the conversation their conversation.
You've effectively done the same thing - not to the same extent, of course - but there's nothing stopping you from making a separate thread. Unless, of course, your intention was to signal disrespect to the most important event of the Christian calendar.
