I recently picked up Heroine's Quest and (as a fan of Hero's Quest) am really excited about it. Unfortunately when I play the sound is bugged to the extreme and is way too irritating to play. The music comes through has garbled and the voices are speaking too fast to comprehend. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

PS I'm playing through Steam on LinuxMint

Thanks for your report! You should probably ask this on our Steam forums, as there are substantially more Linux users there. I'm not personally familiar with Mint, but this sounds like either a high system load, or something a few apt_gets on the allegro sound libraries should be able to fix.
