Hello-
After having uploaded hold test demos for the first time today, I wondered about this: frequently, out of quasi-optimizing habit, I tend to restart a room once I've figured out the solution and run through it again, eliminating any false leads/dead ends in the process. Now, I imagine just the opposite would actually be more helpful to Architects? A demo recorded on first entry to every room can let you watch the solving process unfold (red herrings, etc.), even if the room isn't solved.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure if you're assuming that demos record restarts also, but if so the game records the victory demo automatically. It doesn't include any restarts (I don't know if demos even record restarts at all), so no need to restart after figuring out a room!

Oh, right. The demo would be useful for watching progress unfold if it recorded undos and restarts. Cue Emily Litella voice, "Never mind!"
