You know those question marks that appear on the map to indicate the location of a Cute Roach Scroll? Well, I just used split-second timing to get a screenshot of all three frames of their animation, and then painstakingly rotoscoped each variant out. For that, I feel I've worked hard enough to deserve them.

Does anyone object to me posting them here so no one else has to go through that?

This is sort of tangentally related but, remember that fake Lets Play you had Pearls do for the April fools promotion of TSS? Well, I was wondering if you could release the graphics for the elements shown in it.

You see, I've scripted a recreation of the motorcycle, but can't make it look like a motorcycle. Also, I have a vision of a Goo Baby activating Tarstuff Switcher tokens to simulate Chromatic Goo, and would like it to change colors accordingly.

I can't help with the motorcycle, but can't you just use the "set appearance" command to switch what kind of tarstuff baby the gel baby character looks like?

If you look at the video, you'll see that the goo is a different shade of blue, red, or green from the standard tarstuff, including the babies.

But I suppose if I can get graphics for a white tarstuff baby, I can use the upcoming port of the _MyColor variable from RPG.


Edit: Tried making a white tarstuff baby and realized that they have white facial features, which would be an artifact.

Still waiting for those motorcycle and goo baby tiles. But to make this more than just a simple thread bump, I'll also add the custom characters from GatEB to my request. I've tried rotoscoping, but a lot of them are never seen facing certain directions.

Through a somewhat more complicated process involving a screen recorder, I've just managed to isolate the steam puffs that come out of the RCS.



I could probably do the same with the motorbike and goo babies, if a high resolution version of the video still existed.

Well, the good news is that Pearls finally made the fake Let's Play available again. The bad news is that YouTube infected it with compression artifacts. So it turns out trying to rotoscope the Goo Babies out of it won't work.

I am once again reduced to hoping someone will provide here.

Rejoice, for I have discovered a loophole for doing better than acquiring the Goo Baby graphics. I just used the _MyHue variable to simulate them. That seems to be basically how they were made for the original joke video anyway. It's better because custom graphics can only handle two animation frames if you're having the animation time be random. But the base graphics have three states, and also a number takes up less memory than an image.

Here's the values I used for my test;
Tar - 3000
Mud - 5000
Gel - 1000

I also have another gift that I rotoscoped myself. The shared tiles of Chief Drokkendutt, and Old Rarsus. Sadly limited to only facing south.
