Heroine's Quest - Where are the wings? (0)

I can't seem to find the wings. I've pieced together who they're meant for, and I'm really curious as to what will happen, but I still haven't come across the wings themselves. I'm playing as a sorceress. Any tips?

Thanks a bunch! I really should explore more at night, I tend to just go to sleep unless I have some night-related quest to do. xD

I have the same issue, I can't get an item to open that crate as a rogue.

There's class specific solutions for this, so the rogue solution does not apply to the sorceress, etc etc.

Yes, but I missed my chance to do the Rogue solve. I made my Rogue have magical abilities and did the magic solve vs the rogue solve for this puzzle

In my sorceress playthrough, finding the wings gave me 5 points.

Giving them to whom they belong didn't add to my score though, but maybe it's an honour thing. (Though I'm REALLY not sure what's the more honourable course of action here, it's quite a moral dilemma

)

×I forget exactly who I talked to to learn this, but it seems clear that Hervor is a swanmaiden who, in a moment of unawareness/weakness, was captured by Volund (who stole her wings) and was forced to marry him. I have not seen anything in the game that suggests Volund has any legitimate right to enslave her in this way, and she clearly wants to leave as soon as she has the chance.

OK but has anyone actually answered how to get the wings out of the crate as a sorcerer. I've used disrupt and cant get the crate open. Erti didnt give me a glove for the tool. Please help

It's already hidden there, but the heroine won't know to check it unless you see Volund acting suspicious. Just go to the inside of the gate at night and wait for Volund to walk to the east. Follow him and he'll be at the crate.

There's actually a reason you can't just use the "Third Eye" spell to find it, either, which the game points out when you find it as a sorceress.

I'm glad there's a post-credits scene that alludes to what happens in the after-math of this. Quite a moral dilemma indeed! Thanks for sharing -- I'd've wondered the whole game!
