I have finished Drod 4 and have noticed that I missed two complete levels.

Could somebody please give me a hint how/where to enter the Place of Whims?

If you missed only two complete levels, then you must have seen a master wall at some point during the game. You'll find the Place of Whims beyond it.

So, where is "Beneath Glum Island"? I have seen no entrance to that location at any place.

Glum Island is one of the destinations accessible via the ferry in Glum Cove. Once you're there, you need to look for stairs down.
