DROD 4: Gunthro and the Epic Blunder is now available for pre-order. The expected release date is in less than a month. You can find the game on the
Caravel Games main page.
When you pre-order, then you should register your order to your forum user account via the e-mail that gets sent you afterwards by us. This will grant you access to download the game via the "
Downloads"
link at the top of the forum the minute the game becomes available. Make sure to check your spam folder or PM me with your order info if you don't get it within 24 hours.
It's fine to wait to buy, too, in order to try out the demo before buying, etc. Of course, with a smoother difficulty curve in this game, the demo levels will be quick and simple for die-hard fans to breeze through. The challenge will ramp up smoothly after that point.
There will also be some significant bonus content made available to people who buy the game. This is a version 4.0 hold of SmS quality, architected by TFMurphy (who, I must say, is a genius). This hold spotlights newly added 4.0 engine game element interactions that didn't fit into the progression of the main hold. It has a great story of its own and fun, new characters too. I'd say it's probably around 6-7.5 brains in difficulty and takes a few hours to play through. Registered owners will be granted automatic download access through the SmS hold download mechanism.
