ok, where do i get the stupid gem of truth? I read the entire walkthrough and it says no where in there where you get it! I'm on chapter 6 now

Please help me this is very frustrating.

I have not played through this game in a while, but I think the Faerie Queen (forgot her name ) gives it to you at one point, after asking you what you know of the assassination.
