I can kill the spider but then I can't do anything else. I also can't kill anything other than the spider in the first place.

There are two brains in that room. Together, they quadruple the attack of all the monsters. When the brains are dead, the other monsters' attack goes back to normal. You ought to kill them before attacking that spider.

I don't know how, I barely got by with the ones I had.

EDIT: Okay, I figured out how to have one key remaining, but I still can't get past the spider to the blue doors without using that key to get the extra hp. What is going on?

I mean I can kill the spider without that potion and then go and get the keys to kill and take out the WWs but then I don't have enough hp left to kill the spider. If I get the keys first, killing all the WWs then I can't kill the spider without using all three keys.

You can do the hold without an extra yellow key here (that's how I did it the first time through). You do need enough HP to do that , though... so it sounds like HP might be your problem either way and you need to work a bit on the first level.

Ooh, sorry, I meant the poiton at the first level etrance(after spider boss). I forgot tha I replaced poiton from second level etrance to first level etrance.

But that still doesn't help me. I can't get the blue key and beat the spider without all three keys. Either I have to use the third key to get the other potion in the queens room to the north or I have to use all three of the keys on the doors to the blue key. But I'm supposed to have one of those keys in order to get to the brains. I just can't seem to do accomplish that.

EDIT: I got it, I was somehow able to kill the spider on top of the key by changing the order I took some potions.
