The More Penguin Baseball adds a twist that makes it interesting - landmines will send your penguin flying further. Unfortunately, it's very luck based.

Wow! I laughed my head off! This was a lot of fun. The first one that is. I thought the gore was ridiculous. So I did a search to see who put this out.

is the homepage, and you should check it out. There is a second game which is like darts, and the fan pictures are hilarious elsewhere on the site. Unfortunately, the original version isn't hacked for longer distance. My best is currently 323.5 for single shot baseball, and 485 for darts.

There's another version out there too: This Version allows for totally insane scores. My personal best is 14173. Note: it takes about 2 minutes for the penguin to stop moving in this version. You have been warned.

Today I got 987.6 on the Extra Gory, but I forgot to get a screenshot because I didn't realize how fluky it was at the time (excellent initial strike, then 4 immediate mines). What are other people's best scores on these games?

I think the funniest thing about the Extra Gory version is when the head is about to stop, and then sets off a gratuitous mine just for good measure.

Anyway, what's the shortest people have gotten on the Extra Gory? I've gotten 282.7

29.2, from hitting the spikes...not sure if that's supposed to count, though. I got 960.8 on my first non-miss, haven't been able to beat it yet (although once I hit about 8 mines and still only got 860).

Yeah, it took me a couple tries before I figured out how the mines actually work. If you can string them together, each one adds to the distance of the next, and the height. When I hit five in a row, it took about 10 seconds for the pingu to land again. If they're not in a row, and/or they're not immediately after striking the penguin, then your distance won't be as long as you may think it should be. I've been playing the game for an hour and a half now, believe me, I think I should have had some longer than what I've gotten

And you're right, I don't feel hitting the spikes should count. Though if it does, I've gotten 26.2

Edit: I just got 1183.1, with an attached screenshot. Hit five in a row off the start, then missed one, then hit another.

I took a little jaunt to this site, and looked around, and played some games. Got up to 680.something on the darts one, after discovering that you needed over 600 to get on the scores list and deciding that I really wanted to be on every list on the site. I ended up claiming number 60 in no-bounce long, and number 30 in overall short, for baseball. My other scores are... not so impressive. Longest single hit was 321.something

One thing I will say, though, is that the games there are in desperate need of a restart button. If you mess up on any swing other than the last one, it's faster to kill the window, start a new one, retype your name and begin again than it is to play through the rest of the game.

My scores in any of these versions can't really compete, except for the extremely tweaked version for insane scores, I would like to brag about the score I've gotten, but alas, my penguin absolutely refuses to stop bouncing, it's definitely slowing down but the height remains constant... The little pingu's been in motion now for nearly 10 minutes.... Actually, in the midst of typing this, I zoomed in to the flash animation and found that there's a variation it bounces about alternates between bouncing two different heights about 4 pixels difference. He's been moving for about 15 minutes now... I'll let it keep going while I finish browsing the forums, and will edit if there's any exciting new developments, otherwise, we will assume that my penguin has achieved an infinite di.... heh, as I was typing those very words, the bouncing noise stopped... My guess is that when forward momentum stopped so did the pingu, since vertical wasn't slowing down at all... my distance is 17988... what a ridiculous game... I must say the other versions are more entertaining... Slingshot santa was the best though... gotta love yodeling.
