This is one of those rooms where it's obvious (I think) what to do, but doing it is quite another matter.



Can someone please give me a push in the right directions? I wouldn't turn down a demo at this point

Well, by following CuriousShyRabbit's hints, I can successfully step on the fuse.

Unfortunately, all may be for naught, as I am unable to figure out just how I'm supposed to blow up all eight roaches in a seven-wide bomb blast. Using the tunnels doesn't seem to work no matter how I finegle the roaches beforehand, as inevitably one or more roaches escapes the blast, and leading the roaches myself outside while the fuse burns doesn't look very promising either.

What's the best approach, and just how am I supposed to kill every last one of those suckers? This being my last room on the level, I'm anxious to leave it and return to a Beethro player role on the next one. (At least I'll have a sword then. )

You need to arrange the roaches before you use tunnel.
The attached screenshot shows how one bomb blast is about to kill all 8 roaches...

After reading all the hints and trying just about every possible formation except the correct one I'm giving up. Any further hints or a demo would be very appreciated. I too cannot wait to get my sword back.
