Here is my first attempt at a hold. I think it is complete, every level can be beat anyway. please try it and provide me with some feedback. I'm ready to put it with the completed holds, if everything is working right.

Thanks, Jim. :D

As of 12/17, I have attached a new version of my hold. I Have checked to make sure EVERY room is beatable this time. I also made a couple changes from the feedback I received. Thanks, Jim :D

I'm really liking this so far. Level 1 was very easy, and so I was a bit shocked when I reached Level 2 to find some nasty tricks in it. :devil

A couple of things:

Level 1, 2N

Level 2, 1N1W:

Krammer, Thanks for the input. I wasn't really trying for any particular type of challenge in Level, 2N. I was just playing around with some ideas and left it as it was. As for Level 2, 1N1W, I put the minics there as a decoy, so people would think they were needed for some reason. I was also thinking about going back to that room and adding something, but wasn't sure what yet.

Again, thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you are enjoying it so far. Wait until you get the the third level, called Level 1: Uptown.

Thanks, Jim

Uptown queen city isn't passable. Simple to open the red door impossible to get to it once its open.

Scott,
Which room are you talking about? I thought every room was able to be passed. Thanks, Jim

Which red door? There are ones in multiple rooms.

I looked at this level again. If you are talking about 3N2W, here is a hint:

Got to the room he was talking about in Uptown: 3N 1W. No way to make the final step to get through the red door.

I'd also probably add a checkpoint to 2N in Uptown just because it is in two sections and doing the snake thing every time can get tedious.

I see what you mean. I just assumed that the room could be completed, without really trying it. I fixed that and also added a checkpoint in 2N.

Thanks, again for the input.

You know the old saying from "The Odd Couple", when you assume you make an ass out of u and me. Well, I made an ass of myself, put it out there too quickly. :D I'll do better next time.

Incidently for those that have tried the hold, I actually started building Uptown first, then Downtown and finished with Midtown, so that's way there are a few more tricks in Midtown. :)

Here is an updated copy of the hold. I made sure EVERY room is beatable, and added a few checkpoints. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks, Jim :D

DiMono, Thanks for the comments. I was glad to see some good comments, but the suggestions for changes are always welcomed. I plan on starting another hold soon. Here are some changes made:

Again, thanks for the feedback. I'll try to make the next one harder. Do you think this one is ready for the holds section?

Thanks, Jim :D

In answer to your last question, yes, yes I did. Though if I hadn't, I'd have gone back and tried again :)
