So far I've done the first level. Actual monster combat coming soon.

You base this flawed assumption on the fact that all tutorials made thus far have gotten mediocre scores or worse. But this is not because they were tutorials, this is because as tutorials they sucked.

Well, my aim is to provide a comprehensive tutorial that covers everything in DROD for new people's benefits.

Smitemastery 101 is, IMO, the canonical tutorial. It currently stands at an 8.7 rating, which is quite high.

I thought that Zohnin's Tutorials were reasonably good, but if I am going to rate a hold based on how fun they are, I'll pick ones that have interesting stories and fun puzzles. They don't have to be difficult, but they do have to be fun.

I personally rated Zonhin's Tutorials an 8 and 7, respectively.
