Yep, the music indeed has changed for the three old styles.

Let's see, Foundation uses the Fortress music, Deep Spaces uses the Aboveground music and I think Iceworks uses the City music.

So, is it possible to use this tool in a slightly different manner to get the JtRH *hold* out of the JtRH files to put it in TCB? (and if so, will it still work on CaravelNet?) Or are we still waiting on a solution to that one?

The ending screen is one. I thought up a solution for that, but I haven't had time to implement.

Hey, wouldn't it be possible to make the ending an .ogg file?

Also, would it at all be possible to make artifacts a little easier to obtain?

Plus, why not have more Sweet Cuppin' Cakes episodes?

Unfortunately it seems that MetaKitExtract doesn't play so nice with GatEB. If we're lucky, perhaps Sonnenburg will sell the music. If we're really lucky, in the intervening months to eternity before that happens, someone will improve the tool.

As long as this thread is alive again, I thought I would mention that I get the message "Error Occurred!" whenever I try to extract the JtRH data file with the Mac version following Stefan's directions. Weirdly, when I accidentally added an extra zero to the minimum file size Stefan suggested, I didn't get the error, but it said that zero files were extracted. Wonder what's going on?

The only problem I had when extracting the demo was that some files were in a "FnM" or similarly named subfolder. If you create that folder yourself, and any others it mentions, in the folder you're trying to extract to, it should work better.

Go to the folder where you will put the music.
Make a folder in the folder.
Call that folder "FnM"
Extract the music again.

Yay! This tool is awesome, and I'm glad there was even a fix for the GatEB issue. Can't wait 'til I buy TSS and hear even more awesome music (as well as everything else that will be great about it, of course :D)

Speaking of, just thought I'd post and ask whether this tool works okay for TSS? Thought I'd put the idea out there so, in case there are issues, they can be resolved by the time I buy it. Haha :D

The tool actually isn't necessary for TSS because the JtRH music was brought back for the JtRH styles in 5.0.

I tried the above method (with the FnM folder), but renamed it TSS.

Unfortunately (and fortunately, because it's a good song!), I only managed to extract one song - Danforth screen one.
