SubTerra works fine on Vista, and so does ST2. Just make sure you run them in compatibility mode.

The way the engine was written, both SubTerras should work on anything from Windows 95 upwards, including WINE (the emulator for Linux) and VPC (the emulator for a Mac). Remind me to update the native-Linux version one of these days.
