this is Chalks.



I have my computer set to automaticly log me in when I come to caravelnet forum. I recently changed my password (because I do that periodicly). However, now whenever I try to make a post in the anything forum, it tells my I have an invalid password!

I did a hard refresh, I manually entered my username/pass, I disconnected, reconnected... but I still get the same error message. I even got my password resent to my email... and copy/pasted that into the password box (to prevent spelling errors), and that didn't work either. The odd part is that I can still look at my profile, and highscores.

I think I may have just figured out what was happening...


yep. So apparently, my computer was still remembering the old password when I went to post. so, instead of putting my new password in for the posts, it put the old one... which didn't work.

nothing like making a cry for help on the forums, then discovering the answer three seconds later.
