When it was announced that wraithwings could no longer be put on tar, of course the wraithwing community was devastated. “We may no longer be able to curl up in the depths of the comfortable viscuous substance,” our translator translated, “but we shall fly on other prohibited areas, like stairs!” And so it was that devious wraithwings flew onto the steps of stairs and stayed there, even though they could not escape unless they were on the top step. As Beethro descends stairs, he steps on the wraithwings along the way! Surely this is an unhonorable substitution for smitemastery.

"We shall look into fixing it!" an anonymous voice cried. And all was quiet.

Hmm, yeah. If wwings can't fly onto stairs, I don't see a good reason to allow placing them on stairs in the room editor. I'll forbid this placement in 2.0.13.
