These puzzles remind me a lot of "
Language Equations"
(examples
one and
two). Example: 4 = S. in a D. of C. (4 Suits in a Deck of Cards).
They can be either immediately obvious or have you cudgeling your brain for hours. And some of them are extremely topical...I remember the "
original"
puzzle set I got in elementary school had ones that we were mostly able to get except for "
18 1/2 = M. E. from the W. T."
Which some old person finally realized was "
18 1/2 Minutes Erased from the Watergate Tapes."
Anyway, it seems like it could be quite interesting as long as you get the genders of the people correct.
