I just had to put in a plug for Sourceforge http://sourceforge.net)
I just posted my first project on sourceforge and I do have to say that it is not only a cool site for finding some good software, but it is pretty easy to use for administering a project.
I have known about sourceforge for a very long time and have downloaded a lot of programs from there, however, this is the first time that I have posted a project on it.

The only problem that I find with Sourceforge is that there are a lot of dead projects out there. Although, there are some terrific projects on it as well.
