I really would like to know, as the less credit-card-over-the-internet he does the happier he is. Any suggestions?

If it's possible with the Caravel guys, I'd be willing to put it on my credit card, and accept the money via paypal, for 'established' forum members... Hardly the ideal solution though

Well, I suspect you would need a working disclaimer for that... As in "should anything happen, you cannot hold me responsible", or some such.

It has been brought up in the past before, but it was more a joke than anything else. Still, you seem trustworthy and... Let me look at your signature again.

Anyway, the reason I said "established members" was that I would pay the CreditCard bit before receiving the payment - after all, you can't trust a Welsh man.. We may 'welsh' on the deal :groan

Well, if it had to come down to it, I would do the following:

1. Change my account e-mail to his e-mail, and turn on post notification in a forum.

2. He gets notification, thus proving that he has the e-mail. He gets CaravelNet, and gets the key.

3. After taking a short clip in DROD proving that his key is valid, I pay him, he gives me the key.

But, I think I can coerce my father into using his credit card.

The problem is that, at least until Caravelnet becomes a bit more robust in handling dropped connections, you really need the ability to get new keys if the old one becomes corrupt since that happens every so often to most people.

Which means you really want Caravel to be on your email.
