Okay, I know that there is about 200 billion other threads about this. But I would really like a demo for this because nothing is working. I'm sick of this room and I've been trying it for 5 hours straight. And could it please be a 2.0 demo? Not for the Webfoot version?

I'm feeling generous, although if you really need a demo, it isn't here. Anyway, this isn't perfect. I have this thing where I don't care about my scores, not having CaravelNet.

I don't think that is the 2.0 version demo, unless coppro bought KDD2.0 directly. Unfortunately, I don't have easy access to my saved games right now or I'd post a demo for you. Perhaps someone else will by the time I have access again.

Sorry. I thought you meant DROD. It's a demo for the basic KDD version released for DROD 2.0, not KDD 2.0

I have attached my 347 moves demo to this thread. While it *is* efficient, it isn't good enough to get in the top 8, so there should be no problem with posting it publicly.

That is a KDD 2.0 demo file. I suppose there is a problem somewhere (corrupted demo? on your own end?), but you don't give any information, so there's no way to check.

If you have conquered the room, you can hit the F6 key and look at the other demos.

Okay, I download the demo. Put it in the Homemade folder. Go to the watch demo screen, and import it. But then it tells me that the demo is for a hold I don't have and is ignored. That's the reason I assumed it was a King Dugan 1.0. Sorry.

Odd. I'm pretty sure the demo was recorded under the latest version of the hold (and the last revision only altered graphics, anyhow). Are you using the 2.12 version of DROD?

Of course, *this* particular demo is no longer a problem, but it would be nice to fix it. If the problem is on your end, you will likely have some more trouble with other people, and if the problem is on mine I should issue a warning when releasing my demos.

Here's one of mine. I don't happen to know what version I'm using, but this is definitly for KDD 2.0. If it doesn't work, then there's probably something wrong with your installation.

Hrm. There shouldn't be a difference between demos recorded in the DROD:KDD release and the SS release of the same hold(s), but...I don't know if that was ever tested. If stigant's demo doesn't work, we might have to see if a demo from the non-SS release does.

Well, it was still important because it showed that demos between the two types of installations are compatible. It should also be compatible between Linux and Windows installations so perhaps that needs to be looked into.

Stigant's demo doesn't work for me. I am using KDD 2.0, of course, and 2.12... I'm on Linux, but it shouldn't be a problem. Hmm...

Stigant's demo is labelled KDD, whereas mine has clearly KDD20 in the name. Is it relevant in any way?

I've attached a demo for Rooted Hold, level 1 the Entrance. Can anyone tell me if it wors for them? If there is a problem, it may be worth setting up a thread to investigate the matter.

Works for me. I think the problem has to do with KDD not JTRH.
