Copy/Paste for rooms across holds

Copy/Paste for rooms across holds (0)

I found myself dreaming up a somewhat interesting variation on the famous level 7 snake timer room, and it would be nice if there were some way to copy that room and paste it into my hold for tweaking. Is there any way to do this currently? If not, I request this be added, as often times you will want a beginning to your rooms, but not want to edit the hold that the room is previously in.

Yup. Copy/Paste is allowed cross-hold. (I did that for my snake level.)

How does one go about doing that? I apologize but the help function crashes DROD on my machine.

1. Go to the editor
2. Go to the room you want to copy.
3. Make sure it is highlighted in the map area.
4. Hit Ctrl and C. (It is now copied)
5. Go to the other hold.
6. Ctrl and V will paste it.
7. Repeat as necessary.
