I wanted help in a room in Labyrinthitis JtRH Edition, but I can't see that room in the maps for that hold. I've completed 3 of the 5 rooms on that particular level, but I can only see one room. In fact there are a number of rooms that I have completed that don't show, and 2 secret levels that I haven't seen at all that show me all rooms.
What's up wi' that then?

If it is any confort to you (I really like that phrase), I don't think you are the only one with this problem.

It looks like such threads are corrected to the proper room once they are made, if you specify that your own selection is incorrect (1S on the five-room level in Labyrinthis had had one such thread, for example), so perhaps you can go ahead and ask for help.

Um...just sounds to me like Jacob marked those secret room and levels not to show in the hint database, so that people couldn't see the rooms ahead of time. Although I thought it would work like with JtRH, and you can see the level map but not the full room screenshot.

Also, being able to correct the map to the right room can only be done easily for JtRH. (There's a special room code # and Schik made a list up for the admins for JtRH, but it would be too much to do it for every hold.)

Well, I have no trouble looking at the full picture of rooms I have not been in, so long as they aren't secret, but even secret rooms I have already conquered a long while ago (multiple closings of DROD since then) won't show in the minimap.

Treasure Hunt Master Quest seems to behave that way too, at least for me: though I have conquered all secret rooms, they won't show up in the minimap (the room behind master walls also don't show up).

I stand corrected for the ease of correcting bogus threads (well, technically there is no contradiction, but technicalities are much better to have around in courts than on a forum).

Yep, I specifically chose those rooms to not show up in the room image database. I wasn't sure about the minimap thing, but now it shows that everything is consistent. Actually, there is another option for whether or not rooms are viewable that you've visited. JtRH has this enabled, although it's modified slightly because it's the official hold and now it's possible to have it and not have CaravelNet. Hopefully this all makes sense...
