Hey, Malarme. I see you are going to Webb. Are you going to build boats or something cool like that?

I remember an engineer on a fishing boat that set up conveyor belts and other machinery to keep our fish-processing line running smooth. It looked like an interesting job. Imagine setting up a *very slow* packet-based network.

Did that engineer go to Webb? And yes, I am going to be designing and building ships. I hope to build wooden boats eventually, maybe even start my own company that builds custom wooden boats. Maybe one day I\'ll make you a boat Erik. How would you like an S.S. Beethro?

Three times. It takes me about 32 hours.

Well, two is the best number for accountability. One admin would go power-mad with no checks applied to him. With three or more admins, when one secretly uses his power for malice or gain, the other admins may not know which admin is at fault. Clayton and I watch each other with bloodshot eyes. Our burden is great.

Not that I know of. I\'m good at tacking on loosely related anecdotes.

That sounds like tremendous fun. I hope you get there!

Heh. My opinion is that it is better to know people that have boats than to own one yourself. Too much upkeep. Build yourself a boat and invite me for a ride some day. :)

I would have gone there by now but it\'s expensive! You folks are too prosperous--driving up the exchange rate so that po\' Americans like me can\'t afford to be there.

In April, I\'m going to Amsterdam, Prague, and Vienna.

(Hmmm. That last wasn\'t really relevant. I guess I just wanted to say that because I\'m excited about my vacation!)
