Just exported and re-imported everything from 26 to 27, and have lost all my saved games.

This may be connected to another bug - when I exported my hold it warned me not every room was completed, even though I had conquered the entire hold to test it in that build.

Attached is my player file as it stands when I exported it - it should have a complete Dugan's, completed my own hold, and a couple of rooms into Eytan's Hold and Claythro Tower. Currently it acts as a blank player.

My precious precious player file won't go into DROD 27. This is a problem, as I foolishly completed rooms, then whole levels, in Build 26 because I like the changes made and wanted them.

I hope by the time I finish Dugan's the ending will work properly.

Attached is my player file from Build 26. Let me see if it imports into Build 26.

Matt

I'll take a look at these. (Keep your build 26 stuff around in case it's salvagable!)

None of my .player files right back to build 20 will import into build 27. All progress in Dugans Dungeon is lost. The total is around 1.2MB for the lot if you want to see them (will this board accept a 1.2MB ZIP?) One of them I saved after completing Dugans Dungeon, which I saved in build 26, wouldn't import in build 26 either (the file is large, but it imports very quickly) That was 150kB.

I recieved no error messages, except for the ones I've mentioned previously in drod.err about demos.

My demos for all the levels are kinda screwed as well. The endgame would not play properly.

Would you advise starting Dugans again from the beginning? I don't mind doing so for testing purposes, but I don't want to waste my time if there are still known corruption issues awaiting a fix. I'll give the game another runthrough whenever it's useful - I'm getting quite fast now, and I'm not bored with it yet :)

With it's current settings, no.

Erik, if you see this, I think I mentioned but I'm not sure - you can change the maximum uploaded file size in the forum admin panel. It's at 1 MB right now, if you'd like it bigger or smaller, feel free to change it to whatever...

I don't think it's needed now anyway, if all the bugs which were affecting player data here have been found. Also I could have easily just selected the most appropriate .player files from my list to get under a 1MB limit. Perhaps we can think about upping the limit when someone has created a hold which still requires 1MB, compressed :)

I am still curious as to what was stopping my build 26 player data after game completion from working - it exported without errors and reimported (very quickly, despite the filesize) in the same build, losing all game data in the process. I've attached it if anyone wants to look at it, but it may all part of the same problem.
