King Dugan's Dungeon : Twenty-Third Level : 1 South, 3 West (0)

I read the other thread for this room, but it doesn't help much. I need to know how to make the goblin kill the serpent without just chasing it through the "roundabout," if you will, and then going out the bottom force arrow towards me. I can't get the goblin to just stay there, so it can kill the blasted worm! :angry
