Besides waiting in line, I didn't think Fileplanet was too bad. I downloaded the World of Warcraft open beta through them, which is a 2.5 GB download. It went pretty fast once the line was through. Relatively speaking, of course.

could somebody post a link where is the beta to find?

Sorry, zaubberer, but that file will be long gone. It was the open beta for WoW, and since the game has been released for almost a year now (a bit less in Europe) there isn't any reason to keep the beta files around.

Remember, it's not the same as a demo. There has been a trial version available on the CD to PC Gamer a few months back, but you have to get a copy of that issue because you need to put in a code to get your free week of play. So distributing it online wouldn't do any good there either, until they change the process.

And you can't use the chat channels, I understand, and there's a level limit just in case. It does make it a tad tricky to get very far.
