I can kill the queen at (1) quickly, just after the 1st wave of roaches. I can not however, kill the 2nd queen, I get killed around (2). Could someone help me?

You are on the right track, so don't give up hope. It is possible. A little advice...

Or you can get to both queens near the center of the room (at the walls that look like an "I" ) quick by tricking the 'Neather to open the lower door to them. Move towards the upper door, then when it gets closed, head to the lower one diagonally and you should make it. Well that's how I did it, and I just finished the game today.

Here, I've took a pic:


Get to the point where Beethro is standing, and wait for the 'Neather to open the lower door. Then follow the red arrow diagonally through the door and kill those 2 queens. The rest is easy.

Check out the Un-Challenge I have posted in the forum; it offers a very elegant and easy solution to the puzzle that has been hinted to by killing the middle roach queens first.

help!

i have a question about this room - i've looked at the old posts about the room and it doesn't seem that anyone is having the same problem i am. i kill the 2 roach queens in the 'I' thing, then the two in the bottom left, and then the one that was in the top room. i'm left with the 'neather up top and the 3 roach mothers in the top right, one of whom i can trick out of the room and kill.

my problem is that, in order to kill the remaining two queens, i need to head toward the switch so that the 'neather will run around to the switches on the left - leaving me with no way to get up top where he and the mimic potion are. alteratively, i can sit around and kill roaches all day and never get into the room with the moms since the 'neather will shut the door when i'm on my way.

please help me out; what am i missing?

Try going all the way south, underneath the I. The 'Neather will get frustrated and leave his orbs.

i'm so embarrassed. you'd think that after killing all those roaches i would've noticed that the 'neather will let me out after trapping me, but i always just restarted the room once he had me caught on the far left.

ok, the 'Neather leave his orbs, and get to the two trap orbs to the left, and now what??
I have killed every roach and mama and now the 'Neather are waiting for me on the traps, what can I do? Do I need to restart?
