Hi there,
Im replaying Dugan's after installing DROD on my new computer. I have now reached level 12 and am in the warp room pondering my options.
On my original play through I avoided the warp rooms but having done it the hard way I have no compunction about skipping as many levels as possible this time around, and obviously t'would be a pleasure to spare myself the chore that is level 13.

Now, it appears that i have the yellow door thingy's arranged to say 7 + 9, so assume if I go through the available exit I will end up on level 16. Thats fine with me since Im not playing through for the satisfaction, I simply want to have access to all my favourite rooms whenever I want for challenges and such.

So thats what Im wondering....when I finish the game after warping through these levels will the indiviual rooms on each of these levels be available or will I have to replay the entire levels?
More importantly, if I do have to replay these levels will it render the later levels undone or something weird like that?

Any other detrimental effects of the warp maybe?

By the way, the answer I'm looking for is : No you complete idiot, stop fussing and go warp those levels.

Assuming you're playing Caravel or Architect's Edition...no, you won't have to play the levels over again. You'll have to restore back to level 12 to then continue on as normal through levels 13-15, but the game will remember that you beat the later levels and you can restore to any of them with impunity.

The ending changes based on what rooms you have played, though, so it's definitely worth playing through if you haven't seen the ending yet.

Edit: ah, I might have misunderstood slightly. The levels you skip will not be available in the Restore menu...you won't even be able to pick the Entrance to start from. You'll have to get there on your own if you want to restore to those levels. You should be able to get to level 14 though, if you just want to skip 13.

Oh, yes I'm playing the Architects edition.

The endings not really an issue, I experienced the epic multimedia roller coaster ( ) that is the complete DROD ending, the last time around.

Aha! Thats what I needed to know.

As long as I can replay the missing levels later without effecting the others, I'm a happy camper.
I imagine I will simply restore to the level 12 warp room and tackle those levels when I can summon the motivation to do so.
