×When you drop the red doors you are in the NE corner, so the only viable room is the central western one. (with the red door in the north wall)

×To ensure success, make sure that the serpent is going counter-clockwise around the loop. As the loops are 10 squares long, if it's going clockwise then there is the chance that when it is below the dead end it will be thinking horizontally and head east rather than north.
