Well, I've been bugging Schik for probably over a year to implement e-mail notification of new Private Messages, and he finally was bored enough tonight that he caved in and did it! As an added bonus, he also enabled e-mail notification when you are asked to be a beta tester for a beta hold!
Everyone should have these turned
off by default. If you wish to turn them on, then mosey on over to your Profile (link below the CaravelNet Forum banner). To turn on e-mail notification of Private Messages, click on the Modify tab, then check the appropriate box located in the section right below the e-mail notification for the different forums. To turn on e-mail notification of beta test invites, click on the CaravelNet tab (which is only visible if you have a CaravelNet subscription, of course) and check the appropriate box.
Flush with victory, Schik was too tired to make this post. So if you're happy with the results, and don't want to wait for him to post here, go find some other post of his and mod it up in thanks. Don't mod me up...all I did was bug him weekly until he finally gave in.
