At the end of level one and hit the space bar as I stepped on to stairs. The entrance of level two flashed on to the screen for a second, then the intro screen to level two replaced it.

This also happened to me, and it also happened going into level three. Both of these times, I was rather fast with the key (not the space bar, another random game key). Going into level 4, I waited a bit longer, and did not have this happen.
