-On CaravelGames.com, the download link points to AE 1.6.6, while the DROD.net download points to 1.6.7

-DROD.net has no download link for AE 1.6.7 for Linux. Don't leave the penguins out!

-All email addresses on the DROD contact pages are at CaravelGames.net. Probably should be changed for accuracy.

-History of DROD should probably be updated to include JtRH.

-The JtRH preview can probably be edited a bit to remove things like "lifting the gag" and "We don't know what the price is yet".

-While it's cool that my story is at the very top of the "Stories" section, I think it would be better if the official canon stories were at the top, with fan-made things close to the bottom.

-My Architect's Toolkit should say somewhere that this is for DROD 1.6 only. I barely have any idea for 2.0, but I'm working on it.

-Shouldn't the line under the "Songs of the Eighth" contest read "In June 2004, some brave people stepped up to the plate and sang"?

-The Challenges page is in a bit of a dilema, as it says for Dugan's Dungeon, but it's picking up JtRH challenges as well. I'm not sure how you could hange that, but you're smart, and I'm sure you'll find a way.

-On the front page, you should add a joke in regards to "dragging mud though the place", seeing as mud in an element in DROD now.

I just noticed this morning that the link to downloads on the main page is linking to the old "Downloads/index.html" rather than the new one, just to let you know.

the logo in the top right corner still links to drod.net, even with the Caravelnet skin, which, especially since it is now the default skin, could confuse poeple new to the forums.

I fully agree with the author of this topic.

But I find the whole site bad.

Lets face the truth; this site is just...outdated.

First, lets look at things on the site universally

-The logo says "architects editon".

-The "journey to rooted hold" text next to the logo doesn't seem to fit in. It's to big, or something

-The design takes quite a while to load, and the scheme is for how the drod:ae title screen looked. I think you should just use the caravelgames.com look; its much more pleasing to the eyes.

-GET RID OF THE FRAMES.

The downloads page has also been quite outdated. Here are my complaints.

-A different method for patch downloads needs to be found. The list is just getting too big.

-more emphasis on the holds link. I think most people go to that page for holds.

-The "extras" download place is totally totally outdated. Webfoot demos? I once asked for a full version of webfoot (because of the midis...), and legally it can't be distributed. It died. And as DROD:AE is almost extinct too, no one really cares about LKA. The aim icons are good, but again, outdated.

-The "help" page also has some outdated pages now that JtRH has come out.

Sorry for being so critical...but I just can't help it; I do a lot of web server work.

Erik mentioned a while back on the possibilty of the site being redone, so my assumption is that something is happening backstage that no one knows about.

And, come on, the site isn't *that* bad. Yes, it's a bit retro when you consider where DROD is at now, but it still is quaint it its own respect. More importantly are the articles on there, which I consider to be the most important part. If DROD.net had crappy articles, then yes, there would be a reason to complain. But for now, even with the "bad" design, it still makes it easy to get to the good stuff - the writing.

Patrick is doing some tiptoeing here. :) Yes, the site is being redone. The work on it is well underway.

Some people still have webfoot drod, like me for instance, and still want the cool demos.
