I was reading through drod.net's site yet again (anything to avoid doing work), and I noticed that on some of the monster pages, Claythro's notes are listed as being by Gunthro (you can tell since Gunthro appears twice, and Claythro write in a different style).

Also, the final note on the 'neather spoils the last room. It should be removed.

Yeah, but not by much. I have no idea what it means, and I'm on level 17.

It's somewhat obvious that the king of the Dungeon Monsters wouldn't be truthful. I say leave it in, if you want it, and change all the Gunthro's that should be Clayton's.

I didn't mean that it spoils things by making people who didn't reach the final level know what's in there. It spoils things by making a certain puzzle in the final level trivial. Trust me, you'll know exactly what it means once you get there.

But that's a minor point - the main reason I posted was to get the typo fixed...

It is hard to say. On one hand, having it in the site helps a person to know the character of the 'Neither... however, it may be a bit of a spoiler at the end of the game. Although, it seems obvious what to do at the end. I guess that I am a bit undecided in the matter... maybe leaning more towards the take it off than leave it on.

I fixed the Gunthro-Claythro problem, but I haven't yet decided if I should remove the last tip for the 'Neather. Personally, I see no problem with it, but if enough people disagree I'll take it down. Before I do that, though, I want to hear what other people have to say.

It's nice to know that there is confirmation that you really are supposed to solve the last room that way. I remember thinking, "surely there is another way to do this?" But as Erik discussed in another post, that room is the way it is.

Game on,
