The Domain of the Grinfidel : Third : 1 South, 2 East (0)

Hi folks:

I'm having trouble finishing off the last snake after all the others kill themselves off and then killing the brain. Any tips?

make a trap with those trapdoors. and stand in it until the brain directs the snake into it to eat you, then escape diagonally out?
