Everyone knows that there are some hidden boards that citizens are able to view and post to. Since JTRH is out already, what is there to hide? I would love it if I could see what was going on even if it isn't interesting('cause you might say it isn't).If you are afraid that we will post to there, then just lock them.Also I want to see it because some intersting topics ended "because it was on the hidden boards".

Well, I don't want to be the one who has to go through every single post and look for things that shouldn't be released to the public. There are special links for the beta testers, possibly discussions of things that haven't been done yet, and possibly even posts that might be embarrassing to the testers, who assumed their comments would be kept private.

I was actually just going to ask Mike or Erik today whether or not we should deactivate or further hide those boards, since they have been mostly unused in recent weeks. I'd rather not completely delete them, of course, and they could be re-activated when the next beta starts, with the old topics locked.

Those are my opinions...we'll see what the other guys think, but I have my doubts.

Plus I assume those boards will be used again for the official KDD with-scripts release and/or for 3.0 (which may or may not also be the next thing) and/or for The City Beneath

You said about exactly what I would have said.

The testing board has been retired. It's still around for a few people to look at if needed, but everybody's been kicked off.

Similar things are going to happen with our team board, but I need to think about the transition.

Hah! No longer am I a Citizen of the Rooted Empire, I have returned above ground and joined the ranks of the Smitemasters!

On a slightly more relevant note, I now have an extra category of boards (Archive) on the main page, with no boards in that category.
