On this Win2k computer (work computer), I get to the part where it tells me to put in my name, I click OK, and the program closes itself. It works fine on my WinXP computer at home. Any ideas what's wrong?

I'm running Win2K too, but haven't seen that.

Are you running the build 23 upgrade or full install?

At the beginning, did it ask if you wanted to upgrade your data? And if so, did you upgrade the data?

I'm hoping the above answers are "yes" and "yes". If so, then please, if you have time:
1. Run the build 23 full install again.
2. Choose a new directory for installation.
3. Run DROD. It should ask you if you want to upgrade your data.
4. Say "no" and to the next dialog, "yes".
5. Enter your name and hit okay.

Does it still crash?

The above steps are all moot if you never upgraded data, but I thought I'd try to avoid some back-and-forth here.

I did not get any messages about updating, but I reinstalled anyway. It still will only go so far as the screen where you put your name in.

*UPDATE*
I just realized that the files at sourceforge were different than the one the main site downloads. The first time I started build 23, it didn't even get as far as the name entry, but the second time, it ran fine.

AW, where is this "main site downloads"? Are you saying you reinstalled build 23 with a new setup program from SourceForge, and then the problem went away?

The web page at drod.net has a download link on it. When you click the link, version 1.5 is downloaded, not 1.6 build 23. I had to go to sourceforge to get build 23.

Thanks, Atma.

It sounds like the problem went away for you in build 23. Even if it didn't, build 24 will have some extra messages in it that will report on some kind of errors that cause crashes.
