There is a trick you can use in this room, although it's possible to beat the room without it - I didn't figure it out until after I beat the room.

Alternatively, grab the decoy potion to buy yourself a few turns and go for it.

I useed the decoy to... It wasn't the most efficient solution, but I tried various other strategies and this one was the easiest for me.

Thanks both. Finally got out

I don't mind dying often (I do die often), but i think that room could do with a checkpoint. I died around 100 times, and got well sick of placing the potion.

Some of the rooms in JtRH are such a joy I've played them over and over and over and over again to get my efficiency up. This one won't see my footprints in the dust very often!

Onwards to 1North 4East...

I put the mimic behind of me in order preventing the income that hateful one to be. Perhaps but mistake why the guards ring to me and kills to me always. What I must make?

As Schik posted above, you need to put the decoy in the correct place to stop one set of guards. Since you might have trouble understanding his instructions...try this:

I found the best way for me was to:

Fight off the goons coming from the Standing in the NW square of the 2x2 corridoor and holding my line with sword facing E, the poppies coming at nme with theirs West,
