The Entrance:
The tar babies in front of Beethro was an interesting touch, but it was fairly easy.
Once North:
This was fairly easy too - I didn't need the mimic potion or the trapdoor because serpents can't go on potions, so there was a dead end already. (Maybe moving the potion will solve the problem).
Twice North:
The pattern was really distracting, (I died several times because I didn't notice what the serpents were actually doing at first
) but fun - I liked it.
Thrice North:
I liked the "
special effect"
when nearly all of the small serpents just annihilated each other - it was fun to watch.
Quarce North:
Oooh...
I hated this one - it was so frustrating to have to die just before the orb - I need more checkpoints! I'd give this a 8/20 for patience difficulty (You really have to be patient and watch carefully to complete the room) - Well Done!
Quince North:
I suppose what you intended was for the player to lead the serpent into the central chamber before killing it, but I found a way to send the serpent down the outer corridor to the force arrow with the door closed, killing it and making it easier than you probably intended.
Sence North:
I saw not a snake in this room...thankfully
Septence North:
This was also rather hard - getting the snakes to move out of the way and shorten themselves to let you get the wraithwings was difficult.
Overall, this is what I thought:
Difficulty Scores:
Movement Skill (How specialised your movements need to be, e.g. backswiping is fairly specialised) - 7/20
Patience Skill (How much patience you need) - 8/20
Route Planning (How much you need to plan the route to take)- 4/20
Guesswork (How obvious the solution, or what you need to do is (0 is very straightforward)) - 2/20
Frustration Factor (How frustratingly hard I found the level to be)- 10/20
Overall
level score: 31/100
If you disagree, or know of a beeter scoring method... Tell me!
